What parents ask most
- Is junior rugby safe?Tag rugby with no tackling until Under 9, then contact taught step by step by accredited coaches.
- What happens after a knock to the head?If in doubt, sit them out: off for the day, a doctor within 24 hours, and a step-by-step return.
- How much does a season cost?From $150 for Under 7 and Under 8 to $320 for seniors, with $20 off before 30 November.
- Can my child try it first?Yes. Free Come and Try mornings in October for ages 5 to 12, and a girls session for 10 to 16.
- What does my child need to bring?Boots or runners, a water bottle, and a mouthguard once they play contact rugby.
- Can girls play?Yes: mixed teams to Under 12, then girls teams, and the women’s 10s train on Wednesday nights.
- Is there help with fees?Get Active Kids vouchers, three payments, and half price for a third child. Ask the registrar.
- How do I sponsor the club?Three packages from $500 a year, and an agreement you can sign on your phone.
